OOPS!!

Well I was not finished telling about Hudson's first day of school. I must have pushed a wrong button. So read The First Day of School post then come back to this one.

So about the throwing the crayon. The teacher said it was no big deal. But we will try to keep on top of it. I worry because he has had no Pre-School. Some other teachers I have talked to said he will struggle a little bit with the structure. I'm sure he'll figure it out. I don't think his teacher will put up with it.

Hudson wants to tell what he did today. He played a game. What is in the box. It had a motor cycle, magnet, a moose, and a mirror. They also heard a loud bell and everyone had to hurry outside ( a fire drill). They went outside to play the teacher did not have a bell so she blew her whistle. They also sang a song about turning around. He told me he listened. There was a time where they could have free play. He played with the Lego like blocks when it was time to clean up he did and returned to his desk. So for the most part he did really well. He was so excited when he came home. I could not get him to be quiet during nap time. He is very eager to learn . He likes to read books with me now and also he is big into doing his "homework". I put a notebook into his backpack on Friday at the meet and greet for ME to take notes. Later he found it while we were in the car going to meet daddy after work. He found it and said Oh I almost forgot I need to do my homework. He loves to spell every ones names and draw stars. So Kelcie wanted to write her name too. He gave her a piece of paper but insisted that her scribbles could not be in his homework notebook. Later it was after dark I ran into a store real quick. While I was in there Kelcie claimed she had to go potty. (Which in usually AKA for her just wanting to go in.) So Russ was Going to try to take them in but Hudson was very worked up about leaving his homework. I came out shortly and Kelcie did not have to go potty any more. So we got on the free way he had the light on and I could not see to drive so I shut it off. He was very heart broken. It was very Important that he get his homework done. He shortly fell asleep and then it was all good.
I promise I will talk more about my other kids soon.

First Day of School!!

Well I almost made it without crying. I did good when I dropped him off. I took a few pictures and them handed him over to Mrs. Grant. She is a very friendly person so I think that helped. Also watching all the other parents trying to be brave gave me strength. I got a little choked up but no tears. Then on the way to Wal-Mart to develop some of the pictures I began to think of what a blessing he is to our family. Then I thought of how hard it was to get him here. We had a couple miscarriages before him. Then when I found out I was pregnant with him they told me my HCG levels were too low and he didn't make it either. I was six weeks along. That was Friday and they told me on Monday to come in to talk about my options. I did not go in on Monday. For a week I avoided everyone. I refused to except I lost him, so the next Friday I had them take another HCG level. It was higher which meant he was still alive. What a little fighter. Then he was born five weeks early. I had high blood pressure. I was in the hospital for two weeks. They told me that I would have to be in there until he was due. But bed rest was not working my blood pressure was up in the high 200's. So they did an amino to check his lung functions. They said they were not fully developed but we were both at risk. So he ended up born on my 27Th Birthday. The best Birthday present ever! It turned out that he was born in perfect health. His lungs were fine. While reminiscing about those two stories I started balling like a baby. A lot of you already know those stories but I needed share them again. To help myself accept the fact that he is a strong kid and he is going to do just fine in this new venture in his life.

So after composing myself Kelcie, Boyce, Matti, and Sarah. (The two little girls I babysit.) Hung out at Wal-Mart until it was time to pick him up. When we got there he was so excited. Although his teacher informed me that he had one mishap. At the end of class they were coloring pictures of apples with a first day of school poem on it. He is meticulous (AKA slow) like hid father. So when it was time all his class mates were done but all he had colored was one leaf the stem and a few scribbles on the apple. He was upset that he had to stop, so he threw his crayons into the basket.

Meet and Greet

On Friday we went to the meet and greet at Hudsons school. Russ was able to take the morning off and join us . So we got a babysitter so we could both get something out of it. I got a little choked watching my son be such a big boy. His teacher Mrs. Grant was giving a power point production. The whole time he just sat there at his desk looking up at the screen folding his arms. he has been so excited to start school for a long time. Ever since he turned 5 he stops random strangers ti inform them that he is going to kindergarten. After it was over Russ had to return to work. So Hudson and I went out to lunch together as a special treat. He thought that was pretty great. It was a good day. :)
